The top K-12 publishers, Pearson, McGraw Hill, and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, which together make 90 percent of the textbooks currently available are now partners with Apple. Their textbooks are now in iBookstore and more textbooks are being created. As these electronic textbooks are much cheaper than the hard print, no doubt that more families are going to patronize Apple’s iPad. This fact opens doors for e-book authors and publishers to gain more book sales in iBookstore!
